Master Hendrix Being Promoted To Blue Belt By Royce Gracie

Mr. Hendrix has been training in martial arts for the last 16 years and holds black belts in HapKiDo, Tae Kwon Do and Kobudo.  He is also a Kali instructor.

Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu was made popular by the Gracie Family who started the style.  The emphasis in BJJ is on ground fighting techniques and tactics.  Students can expect to learn many varieties of: Submissions, Pins, Chokes, Cranks and Locks; while also learning reversals and transitions.  The BJJ/MMA class offered at Hendrix Martial Arts will not only teach the sport side of Jiu-Jitsu (with no strikes) but also the mixed martial art side where Muay Thai style striking and grappling are combined.
